Our client, a Quebec-based food service distributor, is seeking a temporary administrative clerk to provide basic administrative support to the Accounts Payable team. This role focuses on routine clerical tasks such as filing, printing, scanning, document organization, and basic data entry. The position is initially temporary; however, there may be an opportunity for the successful candidate to transition into a permanent position based on business needs and performance.
Job Responsibility
Handle the printing, scanning, uploading, and photocopying of invoices and other administrative files
Perform basic data entry, update company systems, and complete routine clerical tasks as instructed
Sort, organize, and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems, including archived records
Quickly locate and retrieve specific files and documents upon request
Provide general administrative assistance to the Accounts Payable team and complete other routine duties as assigned
Requirements
Bilingualism (English and French)
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous clerical, administrative, or data entry experience
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, dependable, and possesses a positive attitude
