Job Description:

We are looking for a temporary Clerical person to sit in our Bridewater office to backfill for a short term leave of absence. This is a client facing role, responsible for answering phones, talking to clients and contractors both on the phone and in person, supporting the application process, producing tenant related letters, creating and processing work orders, office filing, and general office support.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a high school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience (basic to moderate level) in a clerical, administrative, or office support role is required
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a varied workload effectively
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • A strong commitment to client and public service

Nice to have:

  • Additional education in Office Administration, Secretarial Science, or a related field is an asset
  • Experience within a government or public sector environment is considered an asset
  • Experience with database entry and management is an asset
