We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Centreville, Virginia. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who excels in multitasking and has a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a strong aptitude for managing administrative tasks with precision.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support across multiple office locations, ensuring seamless communication and task coordination
Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage spreadsheets, including basic formulas for data organization
Manage email correspondence efficiently using Microsoft Outlook, maintaining a high level of professionalism
Perform accurate data entry tasks to support office operations and maintain records
Organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Assist with receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing phone calls
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and assignments
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Prepare and edit documents as needed, ensuring accuracy and formatting consistency
Support day-to-day administrative activities to contribute to the smooth functioning of the office
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative or office support roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
Strong knowledge of Excel, including the ability to use basic formulas
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
