We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Stow, Ohio, in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position provides essential support to the Customer Experience and Purchasing departments—contributing to order processing, customer communications, and supply chain coordination. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication, and a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately and efficiently enter sales orders to ensure seamless processing
Communicate inventory status and order progress updates to sales representatives, dealers, and end users
Generate and distribute backorder reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
Prepare and send invoices to representatives, dealers, and end users
Process credit memos promptly and accurately
Verify pricing and quantities on incoming invoices against purchase orders for correctness
Provide quotes for export sales requests to aid international business operations
Monitor and maintain shipping and delivery dates within the system to enable timely supply chain management
Assist in updating material statuses to reflect changes in inventory
Offer flexible support to the supply chain team to address capacity needs
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions with strong intellectual acumen
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills combined with effective time management
Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience in administrative and high-volume office work
Capability to multitask effectively and adapt to changing priorities
Familiarity with answering inbound calls and performing receptionist duties
