Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations within the Corporate Accounting Center. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping office functions organized, creating a welcoming front-desk experience, and handling a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-moving environment. The right candidate will be comfortable managing mail flow, maintaining office supplies, and assisting internal teams with accuracy and responsiveness.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the day-to-day administrative needs of the Corporate Accounting Center to help maintain smooth and efficient office operations
  • Welcome visitors and create a courteous first impression for employees, guests, and business partners
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing mail by collecting, sorting, processing, distributing, and preparing items for delivery or shipment
  • Maintain office supply levels by tracking inventory, placing orders, unpacking materials, and organizing supplies for easy access
  • Keep the breakroom stocked, orderly, and supplied to support a clean and functional shared workspace
  • Assist the cash receipts team by reviewing mailed items, separating documents by region, and routing materials to the appropriate accounting departments
  • Use office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and postage systems to complete administrative tasks accurately and on schedule

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative, receptionist, or similar office support position
  • Practical experience using standard office equipment, including printers, fax machines, and postage processing machines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across multiple levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to work independently while managing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail and the ability to retain important information
  • Dependable work ethic with a proactive approach and a strong sense of urgency
