We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a real estate and property office in Lowell, Massachusetts on a Contract basis. This position supports daily office activity by handling communication, preparing written materials, and keeping administrative processes organized. The ideal candidate brings a strong administrative background and is comfortable assisting with high-volume seasonal workloads, front-desk inquiries, and general operational support.
Job Responsibility
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks that help the office run efficiently and professionally
Respond to incoming calls and visitor questions, directing inquiries and recording messages with accuracy
Prepare memos, written correspondence, and other routine documents in support of office needs
Assist the team with contract-related increases in workload during the summer season and contribute to assigned special projects
Provide support for back-office activities, including data entry and general record maintenance
Organize files and administrative materials to maintain a neat, accessible, and orderly office environment
Coordinate basic receptionist duties and ensure communications are passed along to the appropriate staff members.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in an administrative support or office assistant role
Strong ability to draft, format, and manage memos and other business correspondence
Previous experience answering inbound calls and handling receptionist responsibilities in a detail-oriented setting
Comfortable performing data entry and maintaining accurate office records
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with callers, visitors, and internal staff
Proficiency with standard administrative office practices and general office software.
