The Administrative Assistant - Paragon Infusion Centers is responsible for overseeing patient check-in, registration, and checkout.
Job Responsibility
Oversees patient check-in, registration, and checkout
Oversees staff and processes for check-in, verifying charts are pulled for scheduled appointments, demographics/eligibility is updated, and current forms are being utilized
Performs a variety of clerical tasks such as data entry, record maintenance, document processing, and handling customer or internal communications, including phone calls
Organizes and maintains files, enters and retrieves data, and manages document handling tasks as needed
Ensures compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST information security standards
Utilizes proprietary software systems to access information and may track and validate process exceptions, load reports and invoices, and monitor batch jobs
May drive to the post office or other administrative locations based on business needs
Uses basic office equipment
Requirements
HS diploma or equivalent
Nice to have
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
1+ Years of medical front office experience
Prior authorization experience
Inbound call experience
Customer service experience in a medical or professional setting
