A well-established organization in Denver, PA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys handling a variety of basic office tasks and serving as the first point of contact in a professional environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Print and prepare plans and documents as requested
  • Sort, distribute, and send outgoing mail
  • Maintain organized paper and electronic filing systems
  • Perform general administrative and clerical tasks as needed
  • Support day‑to‑day office operations to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements

  • Proficiency in operating a multi-line phone system and managing inbound calls
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle filing and e-filing tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Familiarity with basic clerical duties, including mail sorting and distribution
  • Detail-oriented approach and ability to maintain a well-organized front desk area

  • Processes payments and prepares daily deposit and balances deposit to daily sales report
  • Operates a high volume grain scale, including weighing, probing and accurately grading both inbound and outbound trucks
  • Enters scale tickets into an automated grain system
  • Assists in maintaining complete and accurate records in accordance with company grain policies
  • Accurately communicates producer grain position to Grain Accounting Department
  • Takes initiative to learn and understand location grain operations and processes
