Job Responsibility:
Compiles data and prepares accurate invoices for all service work and products sold in a timely manner to ensure accurate receivables
Reconciles inventory variances
Provides quality customer service to walk-in customers and on the phone
Assists in maintaining accurate inventory and inventory position (booking) records for all products
Processes payments and prepares daily deposit and balances deposit to daily sales report
Operates a high volume grain scale, including weighing, probing and accurately grading both inbound and outbound trucks
Enters scale tickets into an automated grain system
Assists in maintaining complete and accurate records in accordance with company grain policies
Accurately communicates producer grain position to Grain Accounting Department
Takes initiative to learn and understand location grain operations and processes
Supports all Managers/Salespeople with marketing activities
May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Normally requires an Associate’s Degree in a business or agriculture related field or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of office related work experience
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
May be required to work extended hours during busy season
May be required to travel independently and overnight
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
