We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in California. This is a Contract position suited for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable handling a wide range of administrative tasks in a detail-focused setting. The ideal candidate will help maintain efficient workflows, provide front-office support, and ensure accurate handling of records and communications.
Job Responsibility:
Manage day-to-day administrative activities to keep office operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Welcome visitors and provide courteous front-desk support while maintaining a positive first impression.
Answer inbound calls, route inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and take clear, accurate messages when needed.
Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and maintain organized office records and documentation.
Coordinate general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and preparing routine correspondence.
Support scheduling, calendar updates, and other office coordination tasks as assigned.
Monitor administrative workflows and assist with process-related updates when needed as part of ongoing office support.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, office support, or receptionist role
Ability to manage inbound calls professionally and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts
Strong administrative assistance skills, including organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records in an office environment
Comfortable performing receptionist and front-desk responsibilities in a detail-focused setting
Proficiency with standard office tools and general administrative procedures
Ability to work independently while supporting a team in a contract role.
