This position, located at Eielson AFB, Alaska, provides administrative support for the Technical Services Division’s Elements of Combat Training Support (ECTS) To the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex (JPARC) Contract. This position performs a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, clerical and secretarial duties. The work is under general supervision of higher-level personnel. The Personnel Assistant I is expected to exercise discretion at all times; limited judgment may be necessary at times. This assistant may be required to operate general office equipment such as: personal computer, copier, adding machine, and facsimile.
Job Responsibility:
Coordination of daily, weekly and monthly reports
Prepare and assist with back up for monthly billings
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, word processing, and spreadsheet preparation
Create and modify when necessary documents using Microsoft Office programs
Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member
Must be able to work independently or within a small team as necessary
Ensure compliance with BSEt Quality Control and Safety Programs
Other duties as assigned by the Program manager
Requirements:
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in related field
One to three years of experience in a clerical support, secretarial, or administrative assistant capacity, preferably within government contracting environment
Accounting experience desired
Previous Military experience preferred
Effective organizational and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Reliable attendance is required to perform the job
Have a professional appearance, be energetic, and take pride in work
US Citizen
Secret Clearance desired or ability to obtain required
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Work hours will be based on the flying schedule
rotating shifts may be required
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
