We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our Service department on a short-term contract basis in Stockton, California. This part-time position will last approximately two months and will provide essential support while a team member is on leave. The role requires a proactive individual who can handle a variety of administrative tasks and fieldwork responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Independently complete assigned tasks while collaborating effectively in a team setting
Enter data to ensure precise and timely reporting
Manage records and create specialized reports to support departmental processes
Provide general administrative support, including reception duties, data entry, and maintaining office files
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel spreadsheets, to perform daily tasks efficiently
Maintain strong organizational skills to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to resolve administrative and technical inquiries
Analyze data and information to support departmental objectives
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or office support role
Ability to perform fieldwork, including riding public transportation and conducting observations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with reading and interpreting bus schedules
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management
Comfortable working independently and in collaborative environments
Analytical mindset for evaluating data and contributing to reports
