TOWN OF EASTON Administrative Assistant – Department of Health & Community Services (Full Time 35 Hours per week) The town of Easton is accepting applications for a qualified individual to fill the position of full-time Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant provides professional customer service in a service-oriented atmosphere for a department providing a wide range of town services and programs for all members of the community.
Job Responsibility
processing membership applications and program registrations
maintaining building and room reservations for the department using a master facility calendar
managing set up and breakdown of events and programs
preparing necessary reports, minutes and agendas for department related boards or committees
producing departmental newsletter
preparing weekly payroll
processing invoices and orders office supplies
assisting with web editing for the department
providing support to the transportation program by preparing the shuttle bus schedule as well as dispatching of busses throughout the day
Requirements
high school graduate
two years of experience in an office setting
or any equivalent combination of education and experience
excellent computer, communication & customer service skills
excellent organizational skills
ability to multi-task & produce detailed work while working independently
