We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. This position is fully onsite and offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the success of our catering sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and an interest in event planning processes.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to the catering sales team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Handle inbound calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate departments
Perform accurate and efficient data entry to maintain organized records
Assist with receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing inquiries
Collaborate with team members to support event planning and execution processes
Ensure timely communication and coordination between departments
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all administrative tasks
Support the preparation and organization of materials for meetings and presentations
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in administrative assistance or a similar role
Proficiency in handling inbound calls and managing office communications
Strong skills in data entry with a focus on accuracy
Familiarity with receptionist duties, including front desk operations
Ability to work efficiently within a team to support sales and event planning
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Interest in event planning and understanding event workflows
Availability to work fully onsite in New York, New York
