We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team in New York, New York on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and handling correspondence
Answer incoming phone calls with attention to detail, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel
Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update office databases and records
Coordinate office activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to policies
Greet and assist visitors, creating a welcoming and attentive environment
Support office operations by ordering supplies and managing inventory
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required
Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information
Assist with receptionist duties, including handling mail and managing front desk responsibilities
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role
Strong proficiency in data entry and office software applications
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively
Detail-oriented approach and ability to interact with clients and staff
Familiarity with answering inbound calls and directing inquiries
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Nice to have:
