The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of an office or department by providing administrative, clerical, and organizational support. This role supports various teams by managing communications, scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining files to help the organization run smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrates strong communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
Manage calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements
prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
maintain electronic and paper filing systems
answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors, and manage incoming and outgoing mail
assist with data entry, expense reports, and invoice processing
order office supplies and maintain inventory
support planning and coordination of events and meetings
handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
previous administrative or office support experience is a plus
proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
strong organizational and multitasking abilities
excellent verbal and written communication skills
attention to detail and problem-solving skills
ability to work both independently and as part of a team
