We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Long Island City, New York. In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities, including handling communication, managing records, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately while maintaining a meticulous demeanor
Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain and update records
Provide general administrative support, such as scheduling meetings and preparing documents
Assist with receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing inquiries
Organize and maintain office files and records to ensure accessibility
Coordinate office supplies and maintain inventory levels
Support team members with various administrative tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with office procedures and protocols
Handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role
Strong proficiency in data entry and record-keeping
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Familiarity with office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
