We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a manufacturing environment in New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing front-office tasks while keeping records accurate and up to date. Job Responsibility
Manage incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members in a courteous and timely manner
Welcome visitors and provide front-desk support to maintain a positive office experience
Enter, update, and verify information in company records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Assist with routine office coordination, including document handling, filing, and general administrative support
Monitor administrative tasks and help keep daily operations organized and on schedule
Prepare basic correspondence, reports, and other office documents as needed by the team
Support staff with clerical duties that contribute to smooth workflow across the office
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, office support, or receptionist role
Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts
Experience performing data entry with strong accuracy and attention to detail
Working knowledge of general office procedures and administrative support practices
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and a dependable, service-oriented approach to daily work
