We are looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant to support a luxury showroom team in Los Angeles, California. This Contract position is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to gain hands-on experience in a design-driven environment serving architects, designers, and builders. The role combines front-office coordination, administrative support, and client-facing interaction, offering a strong foundation for future growth in showroom operations and client account support.
Job Responsibility
Welcome visitors and create a strong first impression for clients, design partners, and vendors entering the showroom
Manage incoming calls, route inquiries to the appropriate team members, and respond to general questions with accuracy and care
Provide day-to-day administrative support by preparing documents, updating records, and maintaining organized office systems
Enter and maintain data in internal files and tracking tools to support smooth showroom operations
Coordinate scheduling, appointments, and general reception activities to keep daily workflows running efficiently
Assist the team with client follow-up, showroom presentation, and other operational tasks that enhance the customer experience
Maintain a tidy, well-organized front-of-house environment that reflects the standards of a high-end showroom
Requirements
Previous experience in administrative support, reception, or office coordination
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to handle inbound calls effectively
Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
Comfortable performing data entry and maintaining accurate records
Proficiency with general office tasks and administrative procedures
Detail-oriented approach and ability to interact confidently with clients and internal teams
