The Administrative Assistant - Paragon Infusion Centers is responsible for overseeing patient check-in, registration, and checkout. This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support.
Job Responsibility:
Oversees patient check-in, registration, and checkout
Oversees staff and processes for check-in, verifying charts are pulled for scheduled appointments, demographics/eligibility is updated, and current forms are being utilized
Listens and responds to patient and/or family members concerns
Responds to patient questions and complaints, routes issues to appropriate personnel
Analyzes daily administrative operations and utilization of resources
Assists in Medic user issues
Ensures proper cash controls are in place and policy and procedures are followed
Requirements:
Requires a HS diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of lead/supervisory experience in a health care environment
For Carelon Health business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position
Nice to have:
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
1+ Years of medical front office experience
Prior authorization experience
Inbound call experience
Customer service experience in a medical or professional setting
