We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Acton, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain an organized office environment. Job Responsibility:
Sort and distribute incoming mail to ensure timely delivery within the office
Navigate organizational systems, including Paycom, to manage administrative tasks effectively
Edit and refine PowerPoint presentations to meet high standards
Provide general administrative support, including data entry and record maintenance
Answer inbound calls and address inquiries promptly and courteously
Maintain organized office files and documentation for easy access
Collaborate with team members to complete projects and meet deadlines
Follow instructions and work independently to accomplish assigned tasks
Support office operations by being tech-savvy and adapting to digital tools
Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support the team
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative roles or office support
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and other office software
Ability to handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently
Strong organizational skills for managing mail distribution and data entry
Familiarity with navigating systems like Paycom or similar platforms
Capability to work independently and take direction effectively
Tech-savviness and adaptability to learn new digital tools
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
