Our team is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide vital support to our tax department in Phoenix, AZ. This is a temp to hire opportunity—offering the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and departmental needs. You will be responsible for day-to-day administrative support, coordination, and communication to ensure smooth office operations and help the tax team meet deadlines and compliance standards.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to the tax department, including document management, data entry, filing, and calendar scheduling
Draft, review, and process correspondence, reports, and tax-related documentation
Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external communications regarding department matters
Organize and maintain confidential records, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
Support the preparation and distribution of tax-related materials, assist with project tracking, and perform other clerical duties as assigned
Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative, office assistant, or similar support role (experience within a tax or finance department strongly preferred)
Proficient in Evan (2016 version) software for department-related tasks and reporting
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
