A tax consultant firm in Shelton, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and providing excellent service in a professional financial environment.
Job Responsibility
Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries
Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate meetings
Prepare, organize, and file client and tax-related documentation
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in internal systems
Assist with scanning, copying, mailing, and other clerical duties
Support office organization, supply management, and general administrative workflow
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client and financial information
Provide additional administrative support to the team as needed
Requirements
Previous administrative assistant, office support, or customer service experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Professional communication skills and customer-focused approach
High school diploma or equivalent required
