We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide essential support to housing programs, ensuring compliance and efficient operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle regulated processes while assisting residents with their housing needs.
Job Responsibility:
Process housing applications and ensure all supporting documentation meets compliance requirements
Conduct background checks and verify applicant eligibility according to established guidelines
Maintain accurate and organized records, adhering to housing authority regulations
Communicate with residents and applicants regarding unit availability, application status, and program updates
Manage resident payments, ensuring timely acceptance and proper documentation
Address resident requests and follow up on maintenance work orders as needed
Provide front office support, including answering inbound calls and performing receptionist duties
Requirements:
