Requirements
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Demonstrated knowledge of current business practices and office procedures
Demonstrated ability to follow directions
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in areas of responsibility with little or no direct supervision and in a multi-task fast paced environment
Demonstrated ability to handle multi-line telephone system and transfer calls confidently and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service support and assistance
Some experience providing administrative support and customer service in a multi-task and diverse business environment
Some experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Nice to have
Some experience in governmental procurement
Some experience using BANNER and eVA
Ability to train and advise University staff on State and University policies and procedures
