Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Santa Ana, California. This role will support the efficient processing of loan-related documentation and assist in maintaining organization within a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in the mortgage industry to contribute to a collaborative team.

Job Responsibility

  • Organize and process loan documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Enter and update data into company systems using BitePro and Microsoft Office applications
  • Collaborate with team members to manage workload and meet deadlines effectively
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues
  • Maintain an organized filing system for loan documentation and related records
  • Support the team in handling administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations
  • Review and verify the completeness of loan files before submission
  • Assist with tracking and sending necessary documents to custodians
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information
  • Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within the mortgage or loan industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with BitePro software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working onsite in a business casual environment
  • Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Willingness to commit to a contract lasting 6-8 weeks
