Job Description:

Robert Half Lexington is looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join a team in Frankfort, Kentucky. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations by managing administrative tasks, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth office functionality. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while utilizing your organizational and communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate and maintain office equipment, including managing copy center operations and ensuring timely completion of copy, folding, and labeling tasks
  • Oversee the processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, including express deliveries, and maintain accurate records
  • Organize and restock corporate supplies and ensure breakrooms are adequately supplied
  • Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to assess and report on the work of janitorial staff
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting and workspace areas, including coordinating with vendors and organizing necessary materials
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional tasks and projects
  • Manage email correspondence and ensure timely responses to inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars to ensure effective time management
  • Respond to inbound calls and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Experience in handling inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently
  • Skilled in scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Familiarity with data entry processes and maintaining accurate records
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
