We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented part-time Administrative Assistant to join a nonprofit located in Playa Vista. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a proactive attitude. The role involves supporting daily office operations and ensuring smooth communication within the organization. You will work 2-3 days per week, for 8 hours per day.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and maintain office schedules, including coordinating meetings and appointments
Answer and direct incoming calls professionally, providing accurate information and assistance
Perform data entry tasks to ensure records are up-to-date and organized
Assist with general receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries
Support various administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations
Maintain and organize office files, documents, and supplies
Collaborate with team members to address administrative needs and prioritize tasks effectively
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role
Proficiency in handling inbound calls with a detail-oriented approach
Solid knowledge of general office practices and procedures
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing inquiries
High level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
