We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This is a Contract to permanent position where you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring seamless client interactions. Job Responsibility:
Manage the intake process for tax documents submitted by clients, ensuring accuracy and organization
Assemble completed tax return packets by either uploading documents to a secure portal or preparing physical folders
Contact clients to schedule pick-up appointments once tax packets are finalized
Provide prompt and attentive responses to inbound calls, addressing client inquiries and concerns
Perform data entry tasks with precision to maintain accurate records and documentation
Support administrative office functions, including receptionist duties and general office management
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction
Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards when handling sensitive client information
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably within a detail-oriented services firm
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members
Proven ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new tasks and tools
Proficiency in administrative office tasks, including data entry and receptionist duties
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and meet deadlines
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a high standard of conduct in all interactions
Nice to have:
Familiarity with tax-related processes such as income and individual tax return handling is a plus
