We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This role is part of the Compliance & Policy Management Department within the financial services industry and plays a crucial role in maintaining regulatory standards and supporting compliance initiatives. As a long-term contract position, it offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to essential operational processes.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to the Compliance & Policy Management Department, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
Assist with licensing processes, including navigating the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry and interpreting state-specific mortgage regulations
Support marketing compliance by referencing compliance matrices to ensure adherence to federal and state guidelines
Review and approve settlement agents to ensure compliance before the disbursement of funds
Handle foreclosure notice reviews and determine necessary actions
Process opt-out requests in alignment with applicable policies and regulations
Maintain and manage department-owned processes, such as consumer complaint management and regulatory reporting
Conduct research and provide documentation for incidents, examinations, and change management processes
Support loan originator compensation processes and ensure corporate governance compliance
Assist with the maintenance of the policy and procedure library, vendor management, and third-party oversight
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
an associate degree in a business-related field is preferred
Minimum of two years of administrative or related work experience
Experience in the mortgage industry is highly desirable, with one to three years preferred
Proficiency in answering inbound and outbound calls and managing email correspondence
Strong skills in data entry, including numeric and computer-based input
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Familiarity with compliance audits and regulatory processes
Excellent customer service capabilities and attention to detail
Nice to have:
Experience in the mortgage industry is highly desirable, with one to three years preferred
