A well-established financial services firm is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide short-term coverage in a fast-paced office environment. This role will support a large departmental team of approximately 55 employees and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibility:
Provide general administrative and operational support to a large team within the department
Open, sort, scan, and distribute daily mail and packages
Scan and electronically distribute checks and other financial documents to appropriate staff
Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing checks, mail, and packages
Prepare and coordinate outgoing mail, including certified mail and courier services
Assist with staff requests such as mailing materials to clients and internal teams
Coordinate secure delivery of deposits and packages in accordance with internal procedures
Ensure timely communication with staff regarding received items and daily logs
Requirements:
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
Proven ability to multitask in a high-volume administrative environment
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Typing speed of 40+ WPM preferred
Comfortable working with numbers and basic data tracking
