In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring smooth operations while assisting with permitting and clerical tasks. Job Responsibility

  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls, providing attentive and courteous customer service
  • Perform data entry tasks with accuracy, maintaining organized records
  • Handle email correspondence, responding promptly and effectively to inquiries
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to complete administrative tasks
  • Support permitting processes by ensuring documentation is accurate and properly filed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency
  • Address customer inquiries related to permits and administrative processes
  • Provide assistance during working interviews for staff hired on a contract basis
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information

Requirements

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a government setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in customer service, including handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Familiarity with data entry and email correspondence
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
