We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting the Accounts Receivable team and other administrative functions. Job Responsibility:
Provide daily administrative support to the Accounts Receivable team, including data entry, document preparation, and follow-ups
Assist in creating reports, maintaining spreadsheets, and drafting correspondence
Support payment processing, invoice tracking, and internal communications to ensure smooth operations
Manage and organize both digital and physical filing systems for easy access and retrieval
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to address inquiries and maintain strong relationships
Oversee team schedules, calendars, and meeting logistics to optimize productivity
Contribute to process improvements and assist with special administrative projects as needed
Participate in onboarding and training new administrative staff to ensure seamless integration
Handle other assigned duties to support overall team objectives
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative roles
Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
Ability to manage confidential information and multitask in a dynamic work environment
Familiarity with online tools and systems to streamline administrative processes
Comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced setting
Nice to have:
accounting or Accounts Receivable experience being a plus
