Job Responsibility

  • Offer direct administrative assistance to the General Counsel, including managing schedules, handling expense reports, and drafting correspondence
  • Review, edit, and format legal documents to ensure they meet high standards of accuracy and organizational requirements
  • Support the contract review process by ensuring all documentation is complete, consistent, and legally compliant
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records, including highly sensitive and confidential files
  • Oversee daily office logistics and coordinate resources to ensure seamless operations for the legal department
  • Manage incoming communications, routing inquiries appropriately and ensuring timely responses
  • Assist in preparing legal briefs, agreements, and other documentation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of confidentiality
  • Act as a point of contact for coordinating meetings and other departmental activities
  • Provide support during peak workload periods, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of legal terminology and the ability to interpret and work with legal documents effectively
  • Previous experience supporting legal professionals, executives, or teams in a legal-centric environment is preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when proofreading and preparing contracts or other legal materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with legal document management systems and contract administration processes
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet shifting deadlines
