We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily front-office operations for a Contract position based in Boulder, Colorado. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys interacting with visitors, managing incoming communications, and keeping administrative tasks organized in a well-run office setting. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, a confident presence, and the ability to stay composed while handling multiple priorities throughout the day.
Job Responsibility
Welcome employees, guests, and vendors at the reception area and ensure each visitor is directed to the appropriate contact or meeting space
Receive and route a steady flow of incoming telephone calls while maintaining courteous and efficient communication
Coordinate visitor check-in activity several times each week and help create a smooth, welcoming front-desk experience
Provide administrative support through data entry, scheduling coordination, and other routine office tasks as needed
Assist with daily ticketing-related assignments and help keep requests organized and up to date
Monitor shared communication tools such as Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Office applications to support office operations
Maintain an orderly reception area and contribute to a welcoming, service-oriented environment for all onsite guests
Requirements
Prior experience in an administrative, receptionist, or front-desk support role
Ability to manage inbound calls and transfer inquiries accurately in a busy office environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and approachable demeanor
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and core Microsoft Office applications
Comfort with data entry and handling multiple recurring tasks with attention to detail
Willingness to complete hiring process screenings as required
Reliable attendance and the ability to work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule
