We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a commercial property management team in Louisiana. This short-term contract opportunity with potential for a long-term role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping office operations organized, assisting with tenant and vendor communication, and handling a mix of administrative and light accounting tasks. The right candidate will bring accuracy and strong follow-through while working in a fast-paced office environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to commercial property managers, helping maintain organized records, schedules, and office workflows
Answer incoming calls and greet visitors in a courteous and organized manner, directing requests to the appropriate team members and responding to routine inquiries
Enter invoices, payables, and other financial information accurately to assist with basic accounting and payment processing
Prepare, update, and maintain property-related files, reports, correspondence, and documentation with careful attention to detail
Support leasing and property management activities by coordinating paperwork, tracking deadlines, and assisting with tenant communications
Perform data entry across office systems and spreadsheets to ensure information remains current, complete, and easy to access
Use Microsoft Office applications to create documents, manage records, and support daily administrative functions
Assist with general front office responsibilities, including mail handling, filing, copying, and other clerical duties as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or receptionist role
Ability to manage inbound calls, written communication, and in-person interactions with professionalism
Experience with data entry and recordkeeping that demonstrates strong accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with basic accounting support tasks, including entering accounts payable information
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience supporting commercial leasing or commercial property management operations is preferred
