We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a high-volume document management project in Flowood, Mississippi. This is a short term contract position focused on organizing employee records, digitizing paper documents, and maintaining accurate electronic files. The role is well suited for someone who is comfortable with repetitive administrative work, stays focused on accuracy, and can manage large batches of records in a structured office setting.
Job Responsibility:
Review physical employee documents and prepare them for accurate digital filing.
Scan large volumes of paperwork and upload records into the appropriate electronic files.
Organize documents in chronological order so records can be easily retrieved and reviewed.
Identify payroll-related changes within employee files and ensure those documents are captured digitally.
Extract relevant ADP-related information from employee records for proper file placement.
Work through a backlog of paper files while also processing newly received documentation.
Maintain consistency and attention to detail when handling repetitive, time-intensive scanning tasks.
Support general administrative recordkeeping activities during standard Monday through Friday business hours.
Requirements:
Previous experience in administrative support, office administration, or document handling.
Ability to perform data entry and document scanning with a high level of accuracy.
Comfortable working with large volumes of paper files and repetitive tasks.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to sort and manage records by date.
Basic proficiency with electronic file management and uploading documents to digital systems.
Dependable attendance and ability to work a Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule.
Capable of handling confidential employee information with professionalism and care.
