We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Administrative Assistant to join a growing company in Metairie, Louisiana. This short-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a thriving team by performing essential administrative and office support tasks. Ideal candidates are highly organized and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Job Responsibility:
Handle incoming sales calls and provide attentive customer service
Assist in generating new leads to support business growth
Coordinate and schedule meetings effectively for the team
Provide support for marketing campaigns and activities
Maintain accurate records and documentation within the organization
Prepare engaging presentations and materials to support team objectives
Track and monitor the progress of sales and marketing initiatives
Collaborate on creating high-quality proposals and RFPs to win new business
Perform order entry and generate inventory reports as required
Deliver general clerical support to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant supporting teams or departments
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Previous experience in logistics or transportation is a plus
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage tasks with accuracy and meet deadlines effectively
