We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the organization. This position requires someone who pays close attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can efficiently handle multiple tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Translate documents and communications accurately between English and Spanish to support organizational needs
Handle sensitive client information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
Assist caseworkers and staff members with clerical duties, including document preparation and data entry
Respond to inbound calls and provide thorough assistance to clients and stakeholders
Coordinate with various departments to ensure client requests are processed efficiently and within deadlines
Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing incoming correspondence
Maintain organized records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible
Support daily administrative office functions to ensure seamless workflow
Monitor and prioritize tasks to meet operational goals and timelines
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative assistance or related roles
Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong translation and communication skills
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing tasks and documentation
Familiarity with data entry processes and office software applications
Excellent interpersonal skills for managing calls and interacting with clients and team members
Experience in receptionist duties, including managing correspondence and greeting visitors
