We are currently seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant on a contract basis with a non-profit client in Oakland. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of our office.
Job Responsibility:
Answering and directing phone calls to relevant staff
Organizing and scheduling appointments with admin software
Booking meeting rooms and conference facilities
Data entry and maintaining records and files
Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients
Preparing documents and reports
Assisting with special projects as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar position
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
