We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Administrative Assistant in an office supporting a skilled trade workforce in Wadsworth, Nevada. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling a mix of clerical, reception, and data-focused tasks. The role will contribute to efficient workflow by managing records, scanning and filing, preparing basic documents, and providing effective front-office support.
Job Responsibility
Organize and maintain physical and digital files to ensure records are easy to retrieve and kept up to date
Reproduce, scan, and upload documents accurately while following office procedures for document handling
Enter information into databases and spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Prepare routine reports, basic correspondence, and simple tracking documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
Support front-desk operations by answering inbound calls and directing inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner
Assist with general administrative office tasks to help keep daily operations running smoothly
Manage multiple assignments throughout the day and adjust priorities as business needs change
Requirements
Strong typing skills with consistent accuracy in data entry and record updates
Previous experience in administrative support, clerical work, or office coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for creating documents and maintaining spreadsheets
Ability to handle several tasks at once while staying organized and meeting deadlines
Clear and attentive communication skills for answering calls and supporting office visitors or internal staff
Comfortable performing receptionist duties and other general administrative responsibilities
