Provides general administrative support to help respective department(s) meet Peabody’s vision, goals, and plans. We are seeking and dedicated CHPP Administrator to join and support our Centurion mine’s CHPP department. Reporting directly to the Manager Prep Plant, you will play an integral role in supporting our sites CHPP team. Working in a dynamic environment, you will support these needs in a cost-effective and efficient manner, ensuring that business practices are followed, and continuous improvements are introduced.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with invoicing , purchase orders, work orders and defect notifications
Fuel reconciliations, oil sample data entry and dispatch
Light vehicle service and repair scheduling
Coordinate on-boarding of new starters including induction bookings and uniform orders
Kronos (Time/Leave Management) administration and user support
Timesheet reconciliations
Assist with EOM reports, including safety reports, statutory reports and department statistics
Working collaboratively with other site administrators
SAP data entry and data management
Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and department events including audio/visual needs
Create, develop, and update presentations and confidential documents for various department projects and initiatives
Maintain and update department systems
retrieve information when needed
Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies as requested
Handle confidential and non-routine information when necessary
Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects
Act as project manager for special projects as requested
Support department finances by processing invoices, travel reimbursement and approval, and reconciling corporate credit card expenses
Sort and distribute mail including organization of overnight mail delivers
respond to regularly occurring requests for information
Ensure activities comply with safety, environmental and statutory requirements
Other duties as assigned by the company
Requirements:
Demonstrated administration experienced preferably within a CHPP Plant or mining environment
SAP experiences essential
Demonstrated ability to navigate and use internal databases and computer programs
Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail coupled with problem solving ability
Demonstrated commitment to safety as a way of life
A Certificate in Business Administration would be advantageous but not essential
2 – 6 years of relevant professional experience required
High School Degree or GED Equivalent required
