Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Mail Clerk to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will manage essential administrative tasks and ensure the smooth handling of incoming and outgoing mail. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and committed to maintaining efficiency in a dynamic work environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Organize and distribute incoming mail promptly to ensure accurate delivery
  • Assist in managing the mail center operations, including sorting and processing outgoing mail
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, and data entry
  • Maintain accurate records and logs related to mail distribution and administrative activities
  • Collaborate with team members to support operational needs and achieve department goals
  • Handle inquiries and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all administrative functions
  • Monitor inventory levels for mailroom supplies and place orders as needed
  • Support additional administrative projects as assigned to enhance workflow efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required
  • Proven attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks
  • Positive and approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in administrative assistance or mail center operations is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and office software
