Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant / Clerical Support Specialist to provide efficient and accurate clerical support to a large team of professional staff. The ideal candidate must possess strong time management skills, excellent customer service abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. This role requires strong communication skills, accuracy in data entry and documentation, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide efficient and accurate clerical support to professional staff
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel with high accuracy
  • Perform accurate typing, word processing, and data entry
  • Serve as receptionist: greet clients and visitors professionally
  • Answer telephone calls and direct clients/visitors to appropriate staff
  • Provide routine administrative and clerical support for ongoing tasks and special projects
  • Provide information regarding agency office locations, programs, and services
  • Assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
  • Enter and manage information in the iFamilyNet system, including conducting searches
  • Support the Area Management Team as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Minimum 3 years of strong customer service experience (in-person and phone)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong typing and data entry accuracy
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a government or agency environment
  • Experience with case management systems (iFamilyNet or similar systems)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
