Job Description:

The Biomedical Administrative Assistant provides advanced administrative, operational, and compliance support to the Biomedical Engineering department. Plays a key part in department efficiency, regulatory readiness, vendor coordination, and data management. The assistant serves as a central liaison between biomedical leadership, technicians, vendors, and hospital departments, supporting day-to-day operations as well as long-term departmental initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides advanced administrative, operational, and compliance support to the Biomedical Engineering department
  • Plays a key part in department efficiency, regulatory readiness, vendor coordination, and data management
  • Serves as a central liaison between biomedical leadership, technicians, vendors, and hospital departments
  • Supporting day-to-day operations as well as long-term departmental initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum Experience Requirement: Minimum of three (3) years administrative or operational support experience required, healthcare or technical environment preferred
  • Experience supporting leadership or managing department-level administrative functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
