Job Description:

Our client, one of the largest non-profit social welfare institutions in Illinois is looking for an administrative "floater" to join their team. This is a mission-driven, supportive, and inclusive environment where you'll "float" between different teams to provide administrative support wherever it's needed most - whether for fundraising events, special projects, covering vacancies, or during busy times.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support across departments
  • Enter and maintain donor data in Salesforce
  • run reports and manage backlog (training provided)
  • Assist with preparation and logistics for fundraising events (on-site, remote, or external venues)
  • Help manage switchboard phones and respond to inquiries via phone and email
  • Maintain deadlines and support multiple teams during peak times
  • Uphold confidentiality and data integrity across organizational systems
  • Participate in the Contact Quality Team to support organization-wide campaign data
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in a professional office or administrative setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability and willingness to learn Salesforce (training provided)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to adapt and support multiple teams
