Our client, one of the largest non-profit social welfare institutions in Illinois is looking for an administrative "floater" to join their team. This is a mission-driven, supportive, and inclusive environment where you'll "float" between different teams to provide administrative support wherever it's needed most - whether for fundraising events, special projects, covering vacancies, or during busy times.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative and clerical support across departments
Enter and maintain donor data in Salesforce
run reports and manage backlog (training provided)
Assist with preparation and logistics for fundraising events (on-site, remote, or external venues)
Help manage switchboard phones and respond to inquiries via phone and email
Maintain deadlines and support multiple teams during peak times
Uphold confidentiality and data integrity across organizational systems
Participate in the Contact Quality Team to support organization-wide campaign data
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
1+ years of experience in a professional office or administrative setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability and willingness to learn Salesforce (training provided)
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
