We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Administration Officer (AO2) to join a dedicated State Government team based in Cloncurry. Job Responsibility
Provide high-quality word processing and assist in assembling and preparing project documentation
Help prepare general correspondence, official documents, reports, and presentations
Coordinate meetings, including arranging venues, ordering catering, and taking accurate minutes
Manage and coordinate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stock and distribution
Act as the welcoming face and voice of the office by answering incoming calls and greeting visitors
Manage incoming/outgoing mail and oversee efficient filing and document control activities
Manage bookings for the district's fleet vehicles
Assist with arranging vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Help monitor the usage, logbooks, and rotation of district vehicles, and assist with remote travel coordination
Coordinate and book travel and accommodation for staff, ensuring compliance with government travel guidelines
Requirements
Proven Admin Experience: Prior experience in an administrative, reception, or clerical role (State Government experience is highly regarded but not essential)
Strong Organization Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, multitask efficiently, and meet deadlines in a busy environment
Excellent Communication: A professional phone manner and strong written communication skills for drafting correspondence and reports
