Cheshire Coroner’s Court provides an award-winning service to the residents of Cheshire. As an administrator, the successful candidate will work closely with a supportive team of four administrators and three court ushers who help manage the daily running of the court. The role also involves regular contact with investigative officers from Cheshire Police, who assist with case enquiries. This is a collaborative environment where the administrative team plays an essential part in ensuring the court operates smoothly and professionally.
Job Responsibility:
Managing a variety of administrative tasks
Handling incoming enquiries
Preparing and updating case files
Scheduling appointments or hearings
Processing documentation
Supporting coroners, witnesses, and families with clear and sensitive communication
Liaising with external stakeholders such as police investigative officers, funeral directors, and medical professionals
