Administration Officer Role - Birmingham. Full-time | 37 hours per week | Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm | £12.36 p/hr rising to £13.25 p/hr in your thirteenth working week | Temporary assignment for six months, with the potential for extension. This role is fully onsite. We are currently recruiting for two Administrative Officers to work for our Public Sector client, across their two departments: The Legal Team and also their Rota Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by helping to ensure that Magistrates are recruited and diarised to preside over court cases within the West Midlands.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide general administration support, including updating spreadsheets, photocopying and filing
  • Communicate and respond to queries effectively through emails, phone calls and letters in a timely manner, for both the Legal and Rota Teams
  • Provide administration for Magistrate recruitment including sourcing and overseeing the application process
  • Contact Magistrates for availability for Court sittings
  • Coordinate and confirm Magistrate sitting rotas for the West Midlands

Requirements

  • Administration experience
  • Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach
  • Strong administration skills with MS Office & SharePoint proficiency
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Successful candidates for this role will be subject to a DBS check and 3 years of referencing
