Our client, a key department within HM Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS), is hiring for a full-time temporary Administration Officer based in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the enforcement of fines and penalties, ensuring justice is upheld across England and Wales.

Job Responsibility

  • Handling a variety of telephone enquiries for the Criminal Fines Team with professionalism and empathy
  • Creating and updating records accurately on internal systems
  • Data input and management to ensure records are current and correct
  • Drafting standard letters and court documents
  • Assisting court users with general queries and providing excellent customer support
  • Performing other administrative duties as required
  • Participating in training on internal systems to enhance your skills

Requirements

  • Strong administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow established processes and detailed instructions
  • Empathy and problem-solving skills to support customers effectively
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to follow clear processes and instructions
